Bridal Lehengas 2013 Definition

There is hardly any other event in the whole wide world that I consider more colorful or more vibrant than an Indian wedding. There are just so many colours all at play at the same time in a rather small place at a particular time. People dressed in beautiful attires stepping out in brilliant colors that heighten the mood at the wedding. This interplay of colors all form the memories for the bride especially who definitely had numerous dreams of that day for all of her life.

There is the prevailing argument whether or not the bridal lehenga is an adequate substitute for the saree. It is pretty hard to take a definite stand on this matter, as both attires have their individual unique effects on the wearer and the occasion that it is worn to.

The bride has an ultimate need to dress her best but tradition can only permit so much modifications and alteration to the traditional attires worn for weddings in India and other Asian regions.

Perhaps the one advantage that the lehenga might readily have over the saree is the fact that it is open to much more embellishment than the saree. While the saree has an understandable need to preserve some basic components of the attire, the lehenga enjoys some leeway with how designs and concepts are devised around it.

Red is the ultimate bridal colour for the lehenga, but it is not restricted to playing around with only the red colour. A good designer will know how to transform a common lehenga to that perfect bridal attire that will keep the bride smiling all through the best day of her life. The designer has to take note of the fact that the colour red is very selective and proper attention has to be paid to deciding how other colours are applied to the bridal lehenga.

With the right accessories the bridal lehenga should see the bride all dressed up in a way that she will always remember and be proud of for a very long time. She should take note to use a transparent bridal dupatta; this will not veil the beautiful designs that might have been incorporated into the bridal attire, and also the beautiful drawings and paintings on her body too.

Like I said earlier, I am yet to see any event anywhere in the world more colourful and vibrant than an Indian wedding. Perhaps it’s the food and the plenty delicious delicacies, or the wonderful gathering of single ladies all dressed in beautiful attires, from saris to lehengas of splendid colours and fascinating designs.

Questioning whether to wear a saree or lehenga; that pretty much depends on what you the bride desires most. Do you want to be dressed up in the customary attire associated with your culture, or would you rather step out in that fine mixture of custom and modernisation, the choice is yours to make eventually, the more important thing is to look beautiful in whatever you decide to wear.
